Mission
Jovial is dedicated to supporting children and teens with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADD/ADHD, and other behavioral or social challenges. Our mission is to empower families by providing access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) tools, knowledge, and practical techniques that help guide, support, and foster long-term success for their children.

Purpose
The purpose of Jovial is to serve our community by partnering with families to develop individualized treatment programs tailored to the unique needs of each child. Through our expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), combined with compassion and experience, we provide natural environment–based programs that promote growth in communication and appropriate social behaviors.

Understanding ABA Therapy
If your child has recently received an autism diagnosis, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed while exploring treatment options. With so much information available, knowing where to begin can be challenging. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific, evidence-based approach that uses careful observation and positive reinforcement to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
Think of ABA therapy as a highly individualized teaching method. For children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays this structured approach creates clear pathways for developing communication skills, strengthening social interactions, building daily living skills, and reducing behaviors that interfere with learning.

Jovial ABA begins with a thorough assessment conducted by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Using this assessment, the BCBA creates an individualized treatment plan tailored specifically to your child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. There are no cookie-cutter approaches—what works well for one child may be completely ineffective for another.
The true impact of ABA comes from consistency. Whether therapy sessions take place at home, school, community or in a center-based setting, trained therapists implement your child’s personalized plan through engaging, play-based activities that systematically build meaningful skills.
The environment in which therapy occurs plays an important role in how strategies are applied, which skills are prioritized, and how your child responds to intervention.

Our services are offered in a variety of settings to best meet individual needs, including:
Home, School, Community and at Jovial Centers.

ABA Therapy for Teens and Adults
ABA therapy is often associated with young children, but it is equally effective for teens and adults. While the core principles remain the same, each program is fully individualized.
For teens and adults, ABA therapy may focus on:
Self-help, daily living skills self-advocacy, hygiene and grooming, household responsibilities,
community integration, employment skills, social interaction and communication.
